The Ninja GPZ900R, also known as the ZX900A, is a sport touring motorcycle produced by Kawasaki from 1984 until 2003. It was the first Kawasaki motorcycle to feature a fully liquid-cooled engine, as well as a front air dam and fully adjustable suspension. In the 1980s, it was considered to be one of the fastest production motorcycles available, with a top speed of over 150 mph. The GPZ900R gained widespread recognition after it was featured in the 1986 movie Top Gun, ridden by Tom Cruise's character Maverick. It was also the basis for the ZX-10, which became Kawasaki's flagship superbike. Today, the GPZ900R is considered a collector's item and is highly sought after by motorcycle enthusiasts.
